Brainrot Card Legends Français

Terms of Use

Brainrot Card Legends — version 1, 30 October 2026. Effective from [À COMPLÉTER : publication date].

In short

1. Who we are, and what these terms cover

The game Brainrot Card Legends (the "game") is published by [À COMPLÉTER : publisher's full name, or company name and legal form], [À COMPLÉTER : postal address], [À COMPLÉTER : support email address] ("we"). Full legal information is in the legal notice.

These terms govern the use of the game and its online services. By creating an account or using the game, you accept them. Our privacy policy explains what we do with your data.

2. Who can play

The game is intended for players aged 13 and over. Before an account is created, the game asks for your month and year of birth; under 13, online features are refused and the game remains playable on the device. By creating an account, you accept these terms and the community rules (section 5).

If you are a minor, you need the consent of a holder of parental responsibility to use the game and for any purchase. Parents can control purchases with the App Store and Google Play parental controls. [À VALIDER PAR L'AVOCAT : wording for 13 to 17-year-olds]

3. Your licence to use the game

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable licence to use the game, for private and non-commercial purposes, on devices you own or control, in accordance with these terms and the rules of the app store where you obtained it.

The game, its cards, artwork, texts, sounds, code and trademarks remain our property or that of the right holders who licensed them to us. Except to the extent expressly permitted by law (in particular Article L. 122-6-1 of the French Intellectual Property Code), you may not:

4. Your account

Creation. The account is created when you choose a username. It requires no email and no password: your device generates a secret key that proves the account is yours.

Your responsibility. The account is tied to the key kept on your device (and in iCloud Keychain if you have turned it on). The optional recovery code lets you recover your account on a new device: it is shown to you once, we do not know it and cannot send it to you again. Keep it somewhere safe and never share it. If you lose your device with no synced keychain and no recovery code, we cannot restore your account. [À VÉRIFIER : behaviour on Android]

An account is personal. You may not sell, lend or transfer it.

Your username must not be insulting, discriminatory or sexual, or use the name of another person, a brand or a member of our team to mislead other players. We may refuse a username or ask you to change it. A username you give up stays reserved for 30 days before it becomes available again.

Deletion. You can delete your account at any time: Settings > Account > Delete my account. Deletion is immediate and permanent. What it erases and what it leaves is described on the Delete your account page. [À VÉRIFIER : exact English labels in the game]

5. Community rules

In the game (username, guild name and motto, showcase, messages, reports), you must not:

6. Reporting, moderation and sanctions

Reporting. You can report a player, a message (guild or private) or a guild from the game, by choosing a reason and, if you wish, adding details. Anyone, player or not, can also report content they consider illegal by email to [À COMPLÉTER : support email address], stating what is concerned, why they consider it illegal, and their contact details (Article 16 of Regulation (EU) 2022/2065, the Digital Services Act or DSA). We acknowledge receipt of every report.

Blocking. You can block a player at any time: they can no longer write to you. Blocking works both ways: neither of you sees the other's messages any more, and any friendship between you ends.

Automated moderation. An automatic filter rejects, when sent, messages containing an insult or contact details. It does not sanction anyone: it only prevents the message from being sent.

Zero tolerance. Hateful, sexual, harassing or threatening content, or content seeking a player's contact details, is not tolerated. We handle reports within 24 hours [À VALIDER PAR L'AVOCAT : response-time commitment], removing the content and excluding its author when the rules are broken.

Decisions. Reports are reviewed by a person, the publisher or someone the publisher appoints. Every decision comes with its reasons: the reporter and the person concerned read it in the game (Settings > Data > Reports and decisions), with the available remedies. We have no general obligation to monitor content, but we act as soon as we become aware of content that is illegal or breaches these terms. Depending on severity and repetition, we may:

  1. remove content (message, guild name or motto, username);
  2. issue a warning;
  3. temporarily restrict access to online features (messages, guilds, online matches);
  4. suspend the account;
  5. delete the account, for a serious or repeated breach.

If content suggests an offence threatening the life or safety of a person, we inform the competent authorities (Article 18 DSA).

The rest of the game remains available as long as the sanction only concerns online features. [À VÉRIFIER : what remains playable during a suspension]

Statement of reasons. Every decision affecting you is explained: you can read in the game, with the report identifier, what was decided, why, and on what grounds (Article 17 DSA). The author of a report can follow its status in the same way.

Appeals. You can contest a decision by writing to us at [À COMPLÉTER : support email address] within six months, with the report identifier. Where possible, someone other than the author of the decision reviews it. [À VALIDER PAR L'AVOCAT : obligations under Articles 20 and 21 DSA for a micro-enterprise, chosen means of redress] You can also go to the competent courts.

7. Content you post

You keep the rights to what you write (username, guild name and motto, messages). You authorise us, free of charge and worldwide, to store, reproduce and display it to other players in the game, only for as long as needed to run the game and to moderate. You guarantee that you have the right to post this content. We may remove content that breaches these terms or the law (section 6).

8. Gems and in-game items

The game uses gems, a virtual currency bought with real money, and game resources (for example time crystals and stars) earned by playing or, for some of them, included in shop offers. Gems and resources are used to obtain game content: boosters, cosmetics, benefits.

Gems, resources, cards and all in-game items:

We may change the game, for example to balance it, within the limits set by law for modifying digital content (Articles L. 224-25-1 et seq. of the French Consumer Code). We do not withdraw content you have bought and we do not unilaterally change the value of a purchased gem. [À VALIDER PAR L'AVOCAT : extent of the right to modify]

9. Boosters and the Jackpot Booster

A booster contains randomly drawn cards. It is opened with gems or game resources, or it is included in some shop offers. The Jackpot Booster is a card-flipping game in which you can win a card you choose, with displayed odds.

The odds of each rarity, the guarantee and the Jackpot Booster odds are shown in the game before every opening: from each booster, from the Jackpot Booster, and in Settings, under Drop rates. They are also published on the Drop rates page. They are computed by the game from the draw tables themselves.

What you obtain is always game content, with no monetary value: it is neither a bet, nor gambling, nor a lottery. No winnings can be converted into money or a real item.

10. Purchases and subscriptions

The store is the seller. Purchases are made through the App Store (Apple) or Google Play (Google), which collect payment under their own terms. The price shown is the one your store gives you, in your currency, taxes included. Purchased content is delivered in the game as soon as the store confirms payment.

Subscriptions:

SubscriptionPeriodPrice
Premium Pass, monthly1 month, auto-renewing[À COMPLÉTER : price]
Premium Pass, yearly1 year, auto-renewing[À COMPLÉTER : price]
Monthly Pack1 month, auto-renewing[À COMPLÉTER : price]

[À VÉRIFIER : English product names; the French names are "Passe Premium" and "Pack du mois"]

What each subscription gives is described in the game's shop before you subscribe.

[À VALIDER PAR L'AVOCAT : reminder before renewal of a yearly subscription (Article L. 215-1 of the French Consumer Code) and electronic cancellation (Article L. 215-1-1) when the subscription is taken through an app store]

11. Right of withdrawal and refunds

For a distance contract, you normally have 14 days to withdraw (Article L. 221-18 of the French Consumer Code).

Content delivered immediately. Gems, boosters and other digital content you buy are delivered in the game as soon as you buy them. At the time of purchase, we ask for your express consent to immediate delivery and your acknowledgement that you thereby lose your right of withdrawal; we then confirm this consent to you. In that case, the right of withdrawal does not apply (Article L. 221-28, 13° of the French Consumer Code; Article 16(m) of Directive 2011/83/EU). [À VÉRIFIER : consent screen separate from the purchase button, and confirmation, to be built with real purchases] [À VALIDER PAR L'AVOCAT : position of the EU consumer protection network (CPC, principles of 21 March 2025) that this exception would not apply to virtual currency; treatment of subscriptions]

Where the right of withdrawal applies, you can exercise it [À COMPLÉTER : through a "withdraw from the contract here" function if one is provided, or by email to the support address]. [À VALIDER PAR L'AVOCAT : scope of the withdrawal function under Articles L. 221-21 and D. 221-5 of the French Consumer Code (in force since 19/06/2026) for an in-app purchase and a subscription sold through an app store]

Refunds. Since payments are collected by the store, refund requests go to the store, under its terms: for the App Store, at reportaproblem.apple.com; for Google Play, from your Google Play order history. [À VÉRIFIER : current addresses and procedures] If a purchase was not delivered, write to us: we will deliver it or help you obtain a refund.

Legal guarantee of conformity. You benefit from the legal guarantee of conformity for digital content and services (Articles L. 224-25-12 et seq. of the French Consumer Code). [À VÉRIFIER : article references]

12. Availability and changes to the game

We do our best to keep the game and its online services running, but cannot guarantee they will always be available: maintenance, updates, host or network incidents. Some features require an Internet connection.

We may change the game, add or remove features. If we decide to shut down the online services, we will notify you in the game at least [À COMPLÉTER : notice period before shutdown] in advance. [À COMPLÉTER : publisher's commitment on shutdown, e.g. stop selling gems from the announcement] [À VALIDER PAR L'AVOCAT : treatment of unused purchased gems on shutdown]

13. Liability

We are liable for damage resulting from a breach of our obligations, under the conditions set by law. We are not liable for damage caused by use of the game contrary to these terms, by the loss of your device or recovery code, by a third party (including another player), by the app store, or by force majeure.

Nothing in these terms limits the rights the law grants you as a consumer, or our liability where the law prohibits limiting it.

14. Suspension and termination

By you: you can stop using the game and delete your account at any time (section 4).

By us: in the event of a serious or repeated breach of these terms, we may suspend or delete your account, following the procedure in section 6, by a reasoned decision. The gems, items and benefits of the deleted account are then lost, without refund, except as provided by law or by the app store's terms. [À VALIDER PAR L'AVOCAT : proportionality and unfair terms]

15. Changes to these terms

We may change these terms, for example when the game changes or the law requires it. We will notify you in the game at least [À COMPLÉTER : notice period] before a significant change applies. If you refuse it, you can delete your account before it takes effect.

16. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by French law. If you live in another European Union country, you keep the protection of the mandatory rules of your country of residence.

If there is a problem, write to us first: we will look for an amicable solution. If that fails, you can use, free of charge, the consumer mediator we are registered with (Articles L. 612-1 et seq. of the French Consumer Code): [À COMPLÉTER : name, postal address and website of the consumer mediator]. You can also go to the competent court.

17. App Store and Google Play provisions

If you obtained the game from the App Store:

[À VALIDER PAR L'AVOCAT : Apple's minimum terms for a custom licence agreement, or choice of Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement supplemented by these terms]

If you obtained the game from Google Play, the Google Play terms also apply to your purchase.
