Delete your account
Brainrot Card Legends, published by [À COMPLÉTER : publisher's full name, or company name]. This page explains how to delete your account and the data associated with it, with or without the app.
In the game
- Open the game, with an Internet connection.
- Go to Settings > Account, section My data.
- On the Delete my account line, tap Delete.
- Read what will be deleted, then tap Continue.
- At the Last step, tap Delete permanently.
[À VÉRIFIER : labels and path in the released version and in the English version of the game; French labels read on 30/10/2026 in Ecrans/Menu.cs and Ecrans/Conformite.cs: « Mes données », « Supprimer mon compte », « Continuer », « Dernière étape », « Supprimer définitivement »]
Deletion is immediate and permanent: the account is not suspended, it is erased. It cannot be undone. The server is erased first, then your device; if the server does not respond, nothing is erased and the game offers to try again. If you want to keep a copy of your data, first use Export my data, in the same section.
Without the app
Write to [À COMPLÉTER : support email address] with the subject "Account deletion", giving your username.
Because the account has no email and no password, we will ask you for proof that the account is yours before deleting it, so that nobody can have another player's account deleted. [À COMPLÉTER : chosen means of proof, e.g. the support identifier shown in the game's Settings] If you still have your recovery code, the simplest way is to restore your account on a device and then delete it in the game.
We handle your request within one month at most and confirm the deletion to you.
What is deleted
On your device, after the server is erased: the account key (keychain), the game save, the profile picture and the showcase. The game starts again from scratch.
Immediately, on our servers:
- your public key and your recovery code (its derived form): nobody can sign in to this account any more;
- your username (see below);
- your profile, showcase and statistics;
- your friends, friend requests and blocks;
- your guild messages and your private conversations, which are deleted in full, for you and for the other person;
- your membership of your guilds; if you led a guild, leadership passes to the longest-standing member;
- your social purse and your guild pot transactions;
- your online matches, invitations and experience earned;
- your vault: collection, currencies, operations log, purchases, and the copy of your save.
What is kept, and for how long
| What remains | Why | For how long |
|---|---|---|
| The IP address used to create the account, with its date | legal retention obligation (Article 6 of French Law No. 2004-575 of 21 June 2004 and Decree No. 2021-1362) | up to 1 year after it was recorded, then automatic deletion |
| Your former username, reserved | so nobody takes it to impersonate you | 30 days |
| A row holding the account's random identifier and its dates, with no key and no username | prevents the identifier from being reused | [À VALIDER PAR L'AVOCAT : period] |
| Reports filed against your account | moderation and protection of other players | [À COMPLÉTER : retention period for reports] |
| Reports you filed, with "deleted account" in place of your identifier | ongoing moderation | [À COMPLÉTER : retention period for reports] |
| In your former opponents' history, the matches played against you, with "deleted account" in your place | the other player's history | up to 12 months after the match |
What deletion does not do
- It does not cancel your subscriptions. Cancel them in your app store settings (iPhone: Settings > [your name] > Subscriptions; Android: Google Play > Payments & subscriptions > Subscriptions), or from the game: Settings > Purchases > Manage my subscriptions.
- It does not refund unused gems or content, except as provided by law or by your app store's terms.
- It does not erase your other devices: if the game is installed on another device, its local save stays there until you erase it (Settings > This device) or uninstall the game. [À VÉRIFIER : behaviour of a second device after deletion; what happens to settings]
